Green lasers represent a breakthrough in the welding of copper and components for electric vehicles; however, the process at a wavelength of 532 nm generates reflections that are highly dangerous and dazzling to the human eye. The operator’s eyes must be protected by high optical density, which safely attenuates the visible beam and significantly reduces the glare from the weld pool. Strict compliance with the EN 207 standard prevents eye strain and permanent damage to the retina.
